Beatriz Narciso is a visual artist and the winner of the first edition of the annual Women in Art Fellowship . Her work focuses on the representation of daily life and the multiple transformations that affect its perception, exploring the relationship between the image's recording and its final plasticity, with light as a guiding element.

The WAF – Women in Art Fellowship is a grant dedicated to supporting and giving visibility to the work of women artists in Portugal, with special attention to its social and cultural impact. Created in partnership with Portugal Manual and SOTA – State of the Art , the initiative offers funding, mentorship, and opportunities for public presentation.

Beatriz Narciso's winning work can be seen between May 7th and June 13th at the Modern Art Gallery of the National Society of Fine Arts in Lisbon.

With government sponsorship, disinformation in Slovakia is affecting people, values, and institutions.

Attacks on journalists, discrediting of independent media, spread of misinformation, dismantling of cultural institutions. Disinformation in Slovakia is growing with the sponsorship of political leaders, who bring marginal narratives into the mainstream . With attacks and tailor-made legislative changes, the polarization of society is intensifying, harming democracy and pro-European sentiment.
