The guest on this episode of the Mostra Nacional Jovens Criadores podcast is Mariana Frazão, an artist who, in 2024, together with Catarina Gameiro, won the Theater category with the work "Concorda".
In this episode, they explain the collective's creative process: how they took conventional objects (two ropes) and sought to explore their universal symbolism and meaning for humanity. Starting with the rope, as an element that is simultaneously abstract and objective, connecting two people, they were able to develop a highly participatory performance, focused on a triangulation between the audience, actors, and ropes.
The National Young Creators Showcase podcast invites you to learn more about the young creators who won the 2023 and 2024 editions of the National Young Creators Showcase (MNJC).
