In 2021, we asked Portuguese people about the biggest challenges young people face today. We asked respondents to rate what they consider to be the level of difficulty this age group faces in the areas of housing, employment, education, family, time for social life and leisure, social connection, and mental health and well-being. After analyzing this data, the Gerador has launched a new investigative section, consisting of 7 interviews conducted with 7 different young people, as a way of hearing what each one has to say about these topics. Starting on International Youth Day, on August 12, 2021, each week we will discuss, together with an interviewee, one of the topics brought up for discussion by this questionnaire.
