Tânia Falcão and Luís Avelar Lucas are two designers, illustrators, motiongraphers and musicians who are also a couple in their personal lives.

Tânia Falcão grew up in Mafra, graduated in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon and worked in advertising until 2012. Luís Avelar Lucas grew up in Lisbon, with a 2-year stint in Macau, attended the Graphic Design course at IADE and worked in advertising from an early age.

They have been together since 2001 when they met in a bar in Ericeira drinking tequila shots.

They realized they had a lot in common, such as their love for art, design and music.

After working together in advertising, in 2012 they decided to create their own digital art project – FalcaoLucas.

In 2015 they returned to Ericeira where they met, and where they work and live to this day with their children Beatriz and Pedro.

Leonel Moura is a pioneering artist in the application of robotics and artificial intelligence in art. In 2001, he created the first robotic arm capable of generating original paintings operated by an “ant algorithm”.

In 2003, a swarm of ‘Robotic Painters’ were able to produce artwork based on simple rules and emergent behavior. Since then, they have produced a number of increasingly autonomous and sophisticated artbots. RAP (Robotic Action Painter), 2006, created for a permanent exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, is able to generate highly creative and unique artworks, decide when the work is ready, and sign it with a distinctive signature.

With the “Bebot” project, a swarm of robots capable of creating unique works of art, he participated in the exhibitions “Artistes & Robots”, Expo Astana (2017), Kazakhstan, Grand Palais, Paris (2018) and “Brain”, Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon (2019).

The newly created swarm of robots, coined NEO, was presented at the UCCA Museum in 2020 in Beijing, in the exhibition “Immaterial / Rematerial. A Brief History of Computer Art” and at Art Paris 2022.

There is currently an installation of 17 Augmented Reality sculptures in São Paulo.

Leonel Moura promotes a new type of art based on machine creativity. In 2009 he was appointed European Ambassador for Creativity and Innovation by the European Commission.

Add Fuel is a Portuguese visual artist. His work focuses on reinterpreting and playing with the language of traditional tile design.

Blending traditional and contemporary elements, his stencil-based work reveals impressive complexity and great attention to detail.

The combination of tiles that create balance through symmetrical repetitions and visual illusion techniques, such as trompe-l'œil, and the patterned compositions create a poetic rhythm that plays with the viewer's perception and possibilities of interpretation.

He has presented his work in solo and group exhibitions since 2006, in addition to participating in some of the main urban art events.

With a background in cinema (New York Film Academy, Restart and School of Fine Arts) and work in theater (Teatro Praga, Teatro Ibisco and Grupo Cénico), postgraduate studies in Artistic Practices and Social Inclusion, Urban Art has always been a known and constant universe.

He created projects such as the O Bairro io Mundo Festival and the Public Art Gallery in Loures, and today coordinates the Urban Art Gallery at Lisbon City Council, where he programs projects such as the MURO Festival, the Artistic Intervention Program in the City (painting sports fields and creating free painting spaces).

Tamara Alves graduated in Fine Arts (ESAD-IPL) and completed a master's degree in Contemporary Artistic Practices, where the subject of her dissertation was “Public Activism in an Urban Context”.

She has always been interested in a type of art that is “inserted” into the world, fascinated by the aesthetics of the street and urban context, and prefers to present her work on the street or in public spaces. Tamara Alves has been constructing a narrative that celebrates in a raw and poetic way the vitality of strong sensations, of an animal becoming, of raw passion, as opposed to rational deliberation.

Based on the idea that our instincts are what define us, the artist invokes a universe of human and animal figures interacting with the natural landscape and objects imbued with a strong symbolic charge that invite us to embrace feelings as a driving force, wild and untamed.

A universe where love, always love (which is wound, pain, tears, but no less pleasure, joy, ecstasy), can be the fruit of an impact, an accident, growing within us like a wild flower.

Born in South Africa, Alexandre da Silva graduated in graphic arts from the Fine Arts of Lisbon in 2009. He worked in editorial design and typography in Paris between 2011 and 2014. Upon returning to Lisbon, he began to take an interest in ceramics at the Caulino studio.

Completely passionate about the material, he decided to undertake technical training at Cencal in 2018, in order to legitimize his desire to make ceramics his main profession.

Since then, he has taught classes and workshops in several studios in Lisbon and Porto, namely Sedimento Studio, Curva atelier and Ó! Cerâmica.

He currently works in his own space — Estúdio Torto, as a craftsman, producing small series for some foreign brands and artists.

Vítor Reis was born in Angola but lives and works in Caldas da Rainha. A descendant of five generations of traditional potters, in 2001 he graduated in Fine Arts from ESAD.CR.

In 2007 he attended the advanced course at the Mau Maus School in Lisbon. Since completing his degree he has developed his career in the area of ​​sculpture and regularly exhibits his work in several cities.

He has also participated in several International Sculpture meetings in several countries. He currently develops his work in ceramics in a Municipal studio, in Caldas da Rainha.

Since 2014, he has been frequently referenced in several relevant national publications in the area of ​​ceramics. He is currently also teaching in the “Product Design-Ceramics and Glass” course at ESAD.CR.

Marta Sousa Ribeiro interrupted her film studies at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in 2011 and later enrolled in the Drawing and Painting courses at Ar.Co, while making her first short film. She studied at the European Film College in Denmark (2012–2013), where she made her second short film.

She was one of the co-founders of the film & video production company VIDEOLOTION, where she produced, together with director Pedro Cabeleira, the feature film VERÃO DANADO (VIDEOLOTION / OPTEC . 2017) – Special Mention Cineasti del Presente Locarno 2017. Later, she directed the 5th episode of the web series SUBSOLO (VIDEOLOTION . 2018) for RTP – Best International Series Carballo Interplay Award 2020; and co-directed, with Joana Peralta, the 13th episode of the children's animation series CRIAS (VIDEOLOTION / PRAÇA FILMES / JPL FILMES . 2019) – Official Selection Annecy 2019.

She was an executive producer of several short films, feature films, video installations, web series, among others.

She premiered her first feature film SIMON CHAMA (VIDEOLOTION . 2020) at the San Sebastián Festival, a project that received the Eurimages Lab Project Award (2018), Best Director for a Portuguese Feature Film at IndieLisboa 2021 and Open Call for Portuguese Women Filmmakers (2021), promoted by Netflix and the Portuguese Film Academy.

Together with partners Joana Peralta, Tiago Simões and Victor Ferreira, they completed the VIDEOLOTION project in 2021. In the same year, they independently produced the short film / video installation IN SEARCH OF AVERRÓIS by João Cristóvão Leitão (2021).

She is currently, as a director, in the development phase of a short film; in the production phase of two feature films, one of which is co-directed with Joana Cotrim (PRAÇA FILMES . 2022); and in the final stages of an animated short film, co-directed with Marta Reis Andrade (BAP . 2022).

Sérgio Graciano has had a long career in film and television. In his first feature film, “Assim Assim” (2010), the director secured a top-notch cast that included names such as Rita Blanco, Miguel Guilherme, Margarida Carpinteiro, Albano Jerónimo and Nuno Lopes.

He spent two years in Angola, where he was responsible for fiction at Semba Comunicação, and where he directed “Njinga – A Rainha de Angola” (2013), the most-watched Angolan film ever, which won two awards at the African Film Academy. This was followed by “Uma Vida à Espera” (2016), a film for which he won the Audience Award at the 8th Edition of FESTin – Portuguese Language Itinerant Film Festival.

In 2017 he directed “Perdidos”, a remake of “Armadilha em Alto Mar” (Trap on the High Seas), the third most-watched Portuguese film of the year. In 2018 he directed “Linhas de Sangue” with Manuel Pureza, bringing together 54 well-known faces from Portuguese television and cinema.

In the last two years, two films have been released, “The Impossibility of Being Alone” and this year, “The Sound That Descends on Earth”, a film that was one of the finalists for the selection of the Portuguese representative for the Oscars, will also be released. The film “Salgueiro Maia – The Implicated” is already scheduled for release in 2022.

His award-winning career in television directing includes the International Emmy in the category of Best Telenovela with “Laços de Sangue”, in 2011, and two Authors Awards, from the Portuguese Society of Authors (SPA), in the category of Best Fiction Program on Television with “Conta-me Como Foi” in 2011 and 'O Último a Sair' in 2012. 'Maternidade' the following year and “País Irmão” in 2018 were also distinguished by the SPA with the nomination for this award.

Sérgio Graciano was also part of the jury in the North American competition of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, in the 2015, 2020 and 2021 edition. He directed a series called “Filha da Lei”, a series produced for RTP that is only available on American Amazon Prime.

In the last two years he has directed five series, namely: “A Generala”, “Chegar a casa”, “A Rainha e a Bastarda”, “Auga Seca” and most recently “Da Mood”. He is currently filming a new series which is the first co-production between GloboPlay and RTP, called “Codex 632”.

In February 2023, he will shoot his next film “Os papeles do inglês” by Ruy Duarte Carvalho, adapted by José Agualusa for Paulo Branco's Leopardo Filmes.

Aldara Bizarro studied dance in Luanda, Lisbon, New York and Berlin. She likes to highlight the periods in which she studied at the Merce Cunningham Studio, at Movement Research (NYC), and at Tanzfabrik (B) as being among the richest phases of her training.

He began choreographing in 1990 with Me myself and Influences, an award-winning piece at the IV CDL Choreographic Workshop, and since then he has created his own pieces that are performed throughout the country.

She was part of the Nova Dança Portuguesa group represented at Europália 91 and was a pioneer in Portugal in creating dance for young people and involving them in the works, through the creation of the Respira Project in 2007.

Your piece The New Ballerina was distinguished by the newspaper Público as one of the best pieces of 2011.

As a trainer, she worked at Forum Dança, Escola Superior de Dança, CCB, FC Gulbenkian, CCVF/A Oficina, Artenrede, and many others.

She was artistic director of Jangada, a dance structure financed by DGArtes, for 16 years.

Currently, he develops projects for young people and the community, combining dance with other arts, focusing on the artistic, social and pedagogical components.

Rosana Ribeiro is a performer and choreographer based between Austria and Portugal. She began her artistic studies at the Chapitô circus school and obtained a degree in Contemporary Dance from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, UK.

In her career she has been an interpreter for Jean Abreu, Hofesh Shechter, Cie.7273, Paulo Ribeiro Company, Instável Company, James Wilton, São Castro & António Cabrita, Editta Braun among others.

He also had the opportunity to work on several operatic productions at the Royal Opera House, English National Opera and the Barbican Centre.

In 2017 she co-founded the Jardins Abertos festival, where she works as a Cultural Programmer. Since 2018 her focus has been on consolidating her artistic and choreographic language.

In 2022 she founded the Selva company and was invited to join the tanz_house choreographers association

Joana Valsassina is curator of the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art and coordinator of the National Traveling Program of the Serralves Collection.

He has previously been part of curatorial teams at institutions such as MoMA and The Drawing Center, in New York, and MAAT, in Lisbon, in addition to developing independent curatorial projects and writing regularly for Umbigo magazine.

She has a degree in museology from New York University and in architecture from the University of Lisbon.

Throughout his professional career he has worked with Portuguese and international artists such as Leonor Antunes, Julião Sarmento, Cabrita, Silvestre Pestana, Pope.L, Daniel de Paula, João Paulo Feliciano, Ana Guedes, Claire Santa Coloma, Sara Chang Yan, Joanna Piotrowska, Horácio Furtuoso, among others.

Pedro Fazenda studies drawing, painting, engraving, photography and sculpture at AR.CO – center of Art and Visual Communication, Lisbon.

He has exhibited individually since 1986 and collectively since 1979. He works mainly in sculpture and design in stone.

He participates in several International Sculpture Symposiums, designs and executes several public sculptures, participates in architecture, urban planning and restoration work, creates stage designs for theater, and carries out training courses in stone sculpture.

Since 1985 he has been responsible for the Stone Sculpture Department of the Évora Cultural Center, an artistic production cooperative, whose workspace is the Old Slaughterhouse of Évora, provided for this purpose by the City Council.

In 2017, the cooperative was restructured as the cultural association Pó de Vir a Ser – Department of Stone Sculpture – Évora Cultural Center, of which he is chairman of the board and artistic director.

Coordinates, participating in, actions of inclusion through and participatory art, expanding the notions of artistic production and sculpture, using stone sculpture as a facilitator of the relationship with people and territories.

Herberto Smith is a photographer, artist and educator. He was born in Guinea-Bissau, grew up in São Tomé and Príncipe and lives in Portugal.

Addresses issues related to youth culture, identities, racial perceptions and social inclusion.

His projects have focused on photographic practices that incorporate collaborative methodologies, aiming to produce socially engaged pieces, creating relationships, interactions and critical thinking.

Estelle Valente was born in Paris, a city with which she has a deep connection, and adopted Lisbon, whose sunshine she says she cannot do without, 12 years ago. In 2012 she began photographing the fado singer Gisela João, whom she still accompanies today.

In 2015, he began a collaboration with the Teatro Municipal São Luiz, where he photographs rehearsals, shows and communication campaigns.

2018 was a special year for her career: she held her first exhibition in Setúbal, «Carla no Papel», where actress Carla Maciel played the role of great cinema divas of the last century (Marilyn Monroe, Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich); she returned to Paris for another exhibition, followed by an artistic residency at Espace Cardin and was also invited by Anabela Mota Ribeiro, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of José Saramago's Nobel Prize, to illustrate the book «Por Saramago» with her photographs.

In 2019, he began collaborating with GQ magazine, where he takes portraits of cultural figures.

Simão Aniceto worked from 2019 to 2021 at the Loreta restaurant, having previously worked in places such as the National Agriculture Fair, the Alma de Henrique Sá Pessoa restaurant, or the Villa Pampilhosa Hotel

He trained as a Kitchen and Pastry Technician at the Professional Training Center of Santarém.

Francisco Martins, better known as Chef Kiko, is one of the most renowned Portuguese chefs and one of the creative minds behind some of the best restaurants in Portugal.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, after his parents emigrated from Portugal, he returned to the country of his heart at the age of 11. In Lisbon, he opened the restaurant “O Talho” in 2013, which was later followed by “A Cevicheria”, “O Poke” and “O Boteco”. All with a strong mix of gastronomic influences and with the same desire as always: “to serve the world at the Portuguese table!”

All spaces are original, distinct and unique concepts.

Throughout his career he also participated in television and radio programs with a strong educational component: Chefs' Academy, Chefs' Academy Kids, Cook Off, Masterchef and Café da Manhã on RFM.

In 2016 he won the “Prix au Chef de L'Avenir” award given by the International Academy of Gastronomy.

It stands out for the simplicity with which it dedicates itself to cooking and the way it turns each meal into a unique moment of sharing.

Between restaurants, television, radio, events and books, it is difficult to find the Chef still. In fact, one of his hobbies is running and that is how he likes to manage all his ideas that never stop.

Saudade Campião has been the owner of the Taberna A Pipa restaurant, in Beja, since 1998.

Over time, he has completed some training in the kitchen area, with traditional Portuguese cuisine and traditional Alentejo cuisine being the most popular in his restaurant.

He promotes traditional Alentejo cuisine workshops at his space, Taberna A Pipa, and passes on some of his knowledge to the participants.

Hugo Van Der Ding was born in 1979 in the back seat of a Saab model 96 4V coupé in Srinagar, in the Indian state of Kashmir, during a trip by his parents — a Dutch dentist and a Spanish ceramist — to the Asian continent.

He lived in India until he was fifteen, studying at the Presentation Convent School, still in Srinagar, and then further south at the College of Saint Aloisius Gonzaga in Mangalore, in the state of Karnataka.

With the divorce and subsequent disappearance without a trace of both parents, she is left in the care of an aunt — the Catalan activist Llùcia Vullpellach — and moves to Morocco.

He completed his degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Al-Karaouine, in Fez, on the same day he was kidnapped by members of the Polisario Front, the independence movement in Western Sahara.

After three years of captivity — during which he developed a passion for découpage, mixing Arabic ceramics with old American magazines — he took part in a hostage exchange with Spain and settled in Andalusia where, in addition to maintaining an art studio and regularly collaborating with the weekly Interviú, he was a substitute striker for Unión Deportiva de Almería.

It was precisely during a friendly match with Estoril-Praia that he came to Portugal for the first time, a country where he has lived since 2010.

In addition to being a public health technician, he also draws, writes, is one of the presenters of Manhãs da 3 on Antena 3, and is completing a degree in Meteorology and Geophysics at the University of Coimbra.

He lives in Lisbon with a life-size cardboard cutout of the actor Tom Hardy.

Marta Borges is an actress, improviser and trainer. She holds a degree in Business Communication (ISCEM), where she completed several professional internships during her studies, two of them in Paris and Brussels.

He worked in an advertising agency and in the most prestigious branding company in the world (Wolff Olins), where he developed and coordinated numerous projects in Lisbon, Madrid, London, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, with international teams.

At the same time, while studying and working in Marketing and Brand Management, he also dedicated himself to Theater, having become a professional in 2001. From 2004 onwards, he chose to dedicate himself exclusively to his artistic career.

Her professional training as an actress began in 1998 and since then she has continued to invest heavily in training in Portugal and abroad, having specialized in Improvisational Theater in 2008, passing through American schools such as Second City, iO Chicago and The Annoyance Theater.

In 2010, she starred in an improvised comedy show, “CUIDADO COM ELAS”, produced by Valentim de Carvalho for SIC. From 2011 to 2014, she became a weekly resident commentator on the comedy show “INFERNO”, presented by Pedro Vieira, from Produções Fictícias, on Canal Q. She also participated in the program “5 Para a Meia Noite”.

He has starred in several advertising campaigns and regularly does voice-overs and dubbing for cartoons and animated films.

She regularly participates in International Festivals and Conferences, as a participant, guest actress and/or trainer: Chicago (2010, 2012), New York (2013 and 2014), Rio de Janeiro (2011, 2014), Amsterdam (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017), Berlin (2013, 2019), Prague (2018), Milan (2019), Padua (2018), Salento (2015), Piombino (2016, 2018), Riga (2018), Oslo (2019), Florence (2019), Rome (2019), Brest (2020), etc.

In his final year of the Advertising and Marketing course at the Escola Superior de Comunicação Social, Pedro Miguel Silva managed to fulfill one of his greatest dreams of doing professional theater, having participated in a children's musical in Lisbon and Porto, for a season.

Between 2003 and 2012, a series of professional experiences and a second degree in journalism made him realize that it was in the world of theater that something made sense.

He currently belongs to the improvisation project, Cardume- Colectivo de Impro and to Jokebox- Comédia de Improviso, of which he was also a founding member.

Trainer since 2001, (in addition to theater) he is passionate about communication, leadership, conflict resolution and sharing experiences.

In 2012, he ventured into the world of improvisational theatre, and since then he has taken part in several workshops with national and international artists, as well as participating in several international festivals as an improviser and trainer. He currently belongs to the improvisation project Cardume- Colectivo de Impro and to Jokebox- Comédia de Improviso, of which he was also a founding member.
