The artistic collective Os Possessos presents a unique performance in Traça, designed specifically for Bairro do Rego.
As part of the Manifesta Project, which aims to research, translate and present manifestos written after 2000, two manifestos will be read in an intimate manner to a small group of spectators. They are words that speak of today's world, of everyday life, messages of hope or denunciation, in a project directed by Isabel Costa, with the interpretation of Catarina Rôlo Salgueiro and João Pedro Mamede.


A video performance created from films of Portuguese families at birthdays, weddings and gatherings. Carlos Tavares Pedro manipulates these images, provided by the Lisbon Municipal Archive, to emphasize the emotions and dances in the videos.
The images will be projected onto the screen, creating a calm and welcoming live sound.
At the same time, through dance, Ale D'Afrique interacts with music. The author wants to show the importance of these two universal phenomena, dance and music, which can temporarily welcome several people in a single space.
After the performance, the author's improvisation remains, what remains of the performance, an installation that will be as unique and different as the performance of the day that precedes it.

In the experience of being welcomed, the feeling of well-being arises when we feel included. In addition to sensory comfort, seeing and being seen by others is essential for recognition and inclusion.
Based on these principles, this installation aims to create a cross-border dialogue between the spaces that welcome us through our shared experience, and those that individualize us.

What will Europe be like in the future? And how do we see Europe now? An area, next to the installation “Ser Lugar” by Colectivo Warehouse, that helps us reflect on this cross-border and abstract place that is Europe.

The Ezequiel Family, residents of Bairro do Rego, recorded their experiences, moments of conviviality, celebration and profession of faith on video, using a camera provided by the Traça organization.
This raw and honest record will be presented, edited and assembled into a short film.









Come and create your poster with the image of the Moth and contribute to a collective mural that will be erected in the Mercado do Bairro Santos.
But that's not all: you can also bring your own tote, t-shirt or sweater and personalise these items with the image of the Exhibition dedicated to family films.

Artistic installation that the musician created for this year's edition. Using the family film archive of the Lisbon Video Library, and sounds taken from a selection of these films, Noiserv created unique musical compositions.
These are new soundtracks, from a reality imagined by the artist, which accompany stills from the films and which you will be able to see and hear.

The Memórias de Lisboa Programme aims to collect, preserve, map and disseminate the memories of the territories through the active participation of local communities using oral history methodology. With this approach, in addition to gathering primary sources of historical information, it aims to combat the isolation of the elderly population, create bridges between generations and contribute to strengthening local identity and social cohesion.
In this context, seven interviews were conducted with residents of Bairro do Rego, which you can see in three local commercial spaces.

The Garden of Life celebrates the connection we establish with ourselves without ever losing sight of the importance of reciprocity. Thus, this exhibition is the result of the small gardens from the Crescer Novo no Antigo workshops, by Elisabete Vila Viçosa, emphasizing an exercise in pruning and pruning individual and collective emotional branches.
An act of caring, of reflection, of what is deciduous or perennial, of growth, to improve flowering, of restoration, but also of beginning, which deserves to be shared.



A perfectly integrated community depends on a set of variables, where the social dimension plays a fundamental and priority role. But what is the impact of physical dimensions? The Cozinha Afetiva project, by Luisa Mafei, aims to inspire food lovers to also be lovers of the vegetable kingdom. The chef believes that including vegetables in our dishes is one of the ways to build a more sustainable and fair society, and that our fork has the power to transform our health, the planet and animals.
In this showcooking, Mafei will cook with vegetables from the Mercado do Bairro Santos.

Graduated in Marine Biology and Master in Oceanography, at the age of 29 she decided to change fields.
Her passion for cooking took her to Barcelona, where she studied at the Hofmann School and worked for 6 years in Michelin-starred restaurants such as MOO (advised by the Roca brothers), Comerç24 and Tapas 24.
In 2013 he returned to Portugal where he worked on several projects such as Pedro e o Lobo, Fortaleza do Guincho, and Alma, ending up leading the kitchen at Tapisco, a project by Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa, in Lisbon, for 5 years.
She is currently an independent gastronomic consultant and teaches at the Hotel and Tourism Schools of Setúbal and Estoril. In this showcooking, Joana Duarte will show everyone how to cook the fish that is sold at the Mercado do Bairro Santos.











Musician Sílvio Rosado and documentary filmmaker Tiago Pereira create audiovisual performances based on recordings of musical practices or sound environments from a given location.
On the one hand, they build a living archive of local identity sound documents that can be consulted, keeping memories alive, and on the other hand, they promote the deconstruction of this same archive and memory, allowing the community to review and question itself, while at the same time being able to dance to memory or follow a story. In this concert, they start and work on the archive of family films from the Lisbon Video Library.

Created in mid-2005 by musician David Santos, noiserv is considered one of the most creative and stimulating musical projects in Portugal in the last decade.
The “one-man orchestra” or “one-man band” has four albums and two EPs. The album “One Hundred Miles from Thoughtlessness” [2008], the EP “A Day in the Day of the Days” [2010] and “Almost Visible Orchestra” [2013], distinguished as the best album of the year by SPA, were the first three recordings.
In 2014, he released his first live recording, a DVD entitled “Everything should be perfect even if no one's there”.
With over 4 concerts in Portugal and the rest of the world, as well as collaborations in Theatre and Cinema, in 2015 the most serious internationalization took place with the re-release of the album “Almost Visible Orchestra” through the French label Naive, the mother house of M83, Yann Tiersen, among others.
2016 is the year for another release, 00:00:00:00, an intimate reflection on the piano. In 2018 he composed the original music for the new image of RTP1, and finished the soundtrack for the documentary “Labirinto da Saudade”, distinguished as best documentary at the Sophia Awards.

More than a show, an experience. Those who visit Bairro do Rego will relive its history, encountering references to their daily lives and paying homage to the place that welcomed them.
For those who are not familiar with this area, you will be able to taste the welcoming atmosphere, characteristic of the neighborhood, that many have already felt and still feel.
